The Bride-to-be voxbox from Influenster
I cannot thank Influenster enough for all the amazing things they do. If it weren't for them i would almost never try new things. I recently recieved my bride to be voxbox from influenster and I was very impressed. In it included: 1 pair of kiss lashes, rescue gum, dream water, schwarzkopf bonacure shampoo and conditioner, and schwarzkopf rescue repair hair serum. I have to say i quite loved the lashes, they came with strings attatched to them to help you apply them, and they pulled out after you had your lashes on. It's very hard for me to apply lashes to my full eyelid so i really loved this freebie. THe rescue gum and dream water were also new favorites of mine. the gum isn't an amazing flavor, but it does help me calm down. and the dream water was amazing. it helped me fall asleep faster than ever. now the shampoo and condition i was not in love with, but that's not really there faul. I have extremely oily hair and this shampoo just didn't do it for be, but i did love the serum that came along with it. I just want to say thank you to influenster for giving me a chance to try out all of this stuff without having to pay for any of it. If you guys haven't tried influenster i suggest you give it a go. www.influenster.com. thanks guys ^_^

Impress Presson Nails
So, I recieved a mom voxbox from Influenster a couple of weeks ago and inside my box was a thing of impress press on nails. I haven't used press on nails since i was about 7 or 8 years old and even then i hated them. My mom was always the nail person, not me. However I felt that these nails were super easy to apply and stayed on really well, they held up even after my shower. I feel like they sent me a really ugly color, but the product in general was really nice. I may even re-purchase for my wedding. Thank you Influenster. ^_^

Makeup Haul
So, my daughters birthday was on friday she turned 5 years old and my fiance got paid on that day so we left her with her grandmother and went out and did our birthday shopping for her. And while i was out I picked up a few things for myself. This is the most makeup I have ever bought at one time, I know it's a little sad, but usually I just pick up one or two things at a time. Anyways, I wanted to share what I picked up so here goes.
I went to my local mall first, which is really small, and picked up a few nyx products at the only place that sells it in my valley. I picked up a blush in the color peach, an eye shadow trio with the colors highlight, brown, and sued, a concealer in a jar in the color light, and a lip pencil in the color Dolly Pink. here are the pictures. Everything cost me about $25.
From there we went to wal-mart where I picked up only 1 thing. I got the Revlon Photo ready perfecting primer. This is the first face primer I have ever owned, so I will let you know what I think of it, but it was around $10.
After that I went to TJ Maxx where I picked up a few more things. I found some of The Balm Cosmetics on the clearance rack. I got the Black Tie Kit, which included Hot Mama, a nice peachy blush, 2 shady lady single shadows in the colors risque renee and just this once jamie, a Hot Ticket nail polish in the color boysenberry, an overshadow in the color no money no honey, a Balm Shelter lip gloss in the color all american girl, and Cheater mascara. All of this cost me $15. I was stoked. I also picked up a Shady lady palette for only $5, I think it had been dropped because one of the shadows was a little broken, but all in all in good condition. I was super happy with what I got from TJ Maxx, and I think I will be looking for makeup in there much more often now.
And Very last I purchased two lipsticks from the Dollar Tree from LA Colors for $1 each. The colors are Lilac Frost and Berry Red. They both look amazing on my skin tone and for $1 you just can't beat it.

May MyGlam Bag
So my first impression of this myglam bag was that it smells really bad. lol. But that is about the only bad thing I can say about it. The bag is really cute, blue with pink lips on it. And I really enjoyed the products in this months bag. The first thing that came out of my bag were the "iss beauty nail blings" I was excited about these because I have just recently been more and more interested in nail products, I have not tried these yet, however I am pretty excited to. Next I pulled out the "Philosophy love sweet love perfume" I like trying out new perfumes, and I must say that this perfume smelled sooo good. very fruity flowery scent. very summery and nice, it is a little strong so a little bit will go a long way. Then I recieved a full size studio gear lipstick, in the color "teaberry". This isn't the perfect shade for summer in my opinion, but it does look really nice on my skin tone and I might get more use out of it in the fall and winter months. I do like the lipstick and the packaging also. Then last but not least were the 2 more brushes that came in this months bag, a concealer brush and a what looks to be a liner brush. I am not super fond of the concealer brush but the other one is perfect for lining under your eyes. So all in all I am very happy with this bag, I got to try new things and get a super cute bag to go with. Thank you MyGlam.
May Birchbox
So I recieved my birchbox for may maybe a week and a half ago and I was so disappointed with it. It is my very first birchbox ever, and i was expecting a little more. I recieved only sample sizes and samples of pretty crappy stuff. The things I recieved were; Arquiste perfume sample ( It smells like mens cologne), beauty blender clenser (I dont own a beauty blender), Color club nail polish in Disco Nap (this is actually the only product I like), Dr. Jart waterfuse BB cream (this sample was empty), a twistband headband (it's already fraying), and my extra was a birchbox notecard. Is it me, or could they have done way better than this, especially since one of my crappy samples was empty. I just expected a little more than this for $10. I think i may give it another month or two to see if it gets better, but if it doesn't I am definately not sticking around.

May Julep Maven Box
I recieved this months Julep Maven box and was very happy with what I recieved. The first thing that came out of the box was a makeup bag that they included in this months box. It's a very pretty black cloth bag with the Julep logo on it. Inside of the bag were my products, which included Sarah nail varnish, Fina nail varnish, and a roller bottle of the best pedi prep ever. Also in the box was a foot file for pedicures. I love The Fina Nail polish, and the sarah nail polish looks amazing in the bottle, but i definatley wouldn't pay $14 for it, I put it on my nails and it doesn't look nearly as pretty on my nails as it does in the bottle. You can Join Julep maven and pay only a penny for your first box, just use my referral code after you click the link:

PHYSICIANS FORMULA PH MATCHMAKER BLUSH
About a month ago I purchased the Physicians Formula PH Matchmaker Powdered Blush from my local target store. It looked intruiging and there was a $3 off coupon on it, so I figured what the heck and purchased it. I have used it regularly since purchasing it since I currently only own about 3 blushes. I got the formula in "natural". My first impression is that it's a really cute package, with a brush and mirror included. Also on the mirror is a light with a light switch. The Blush is a really nice color for my skin tone in my opinion, however I didn't see any change in the way it looks after 60 seconds, as is there claim. It didn't seem to change with the ph of my skin or light. I still really enjoy the product anyways. And I definately recommend it, it lasts for a good amount of time and looks very pretty and natural.

My LEAST Favorite EyeShadows
Okay Guys,
I dont want to be negative today, however whenever I watch videos on Youtube, it seems like I am always hearing great things about somethings that I absolutely loathe. I wanted to share my opinion on the off chance that someone might read this and agree with me 100%.
1.) WetnWild Eyeshadows~ Can I just say that these are not my least favorite shadows in the world, however I would not ever recommend these to anyone like so many youtube makeup guru's seem to be doing nowdays. For what reason? Well first of all, the shadows may seem very pigmented when you swatch them, or even when you first put them on, but give it an hour and the shadow shades, some people may be into that, but I want my makeup to look the same all day long, not gradually wear off. Another reason is that they seem to be very flaky to me, or powdery. The moment I put it on my lid it seems like the shadow is going all over my face, which is a no-no in my book. Other than those reasons, I have no complaints. But those reasons are enough for me not to buy wet-n-wild eyeshadows any longer, even if they do only cost a dollar.
2.) Covergirl Eyeshadows~ Okay, I understand people who use covergirl, I used to be one of them. I was young and those were really the only commercials or advertisements that i saw about makeup. So that's what I bought. Granted being a teenager you think you know it all, but that is very VERY rarely the case. I feel like covergirl has very little staying power, and wears off rather quickly. And the price is ridiculous. I can buy a nyx shadow for the same price or cheaper than cover girl and the product is about a million times better in my opinion. I know I didn't say a whole lot about them, but I would have to say Covergirl is my absolute least favorite shadow. At least wet n wild is pigmented.
3.) Pixi Eyeshadows~ Pixi is a target brand I beleive, I bought my first and only pixi palette online from target.com. It was around $20 and it looked really nice in the picture, however when i recieved it in the mail it was a tiny little palette. Then I tried to use the shadows, which were very pretty, if not super small, in the packaging. I could barely see the shadows on my eyelids, and I am a pretty white girl, so they should have showed up. I'm not sure if the pixi shadows just hate my skin or what, but I would not recommend them in my lifetime. Way too expensive for very inferior product.
Anywas, that's enough of my ranting, if I try out more shadows that I feel just dont make the cut I will add them to list of Least favorite shadows. Thanx for reading guys, and I hope this helped you in some small way. xoxo

Influenster: Palmolive Dish soap
Hey guys,
for those of you who don't know about Influenster it is a site where you can go and sign up for free product testing. You start out unlocking badges, and according to the badges you unlock they send you products for you to try. Well I, of course, unlocked the "Mom" badge, since I am a mom of almost 3 now that is a no brainer. Influenster then sent me a product to test out. They called it the "dishwashing kit" complete with a large bottle of palmolive "clean sponge" dish soap and a sponge, with coupons to hand out to my friends. My first impression of the soap is that it smells amazing, my first impression of the sponge that came with it is that it's a little crappy and I was kindn of disappointed that I threw away my other sponge before i had even tried the one that they sent out. That aside, the soap works very well, for once all of my dishes are clean, and the sponge is still smelling nice and fresh. It has been about a week and a half now and I still have no complaints. Palmolive has always been my go-to dish washing liquid, I usually use the palmolive oxy, however i may just have to switch over to palmolive clean sponge. Thank you Influenster, and thank you colgate-palmolive. xoxo
